Foam Roofing

Protection that Saves You Money

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam or SPF adheres to just about everything. It can be installed over concrete, wood, steel, and most existing roof systems, which saves on the expense of roof removal and landfill fees. Because SPF Roofing installers can spray and apply a tapered roof system with the foam, we eliminate the need for costly tapered insulation systems. The cants and vertical wall terminations are also spray applied, minimizing additional component costs.

Fast Application, Durable Protective Shield

We apply Sprayed Polyurethane Foam to your roof as a liquid, using plural-component spray equipment to fill cracks and crevices. It then expands approximately 30 times its original volume to form a hard, closed-cell monolithic roof surface. Once the SPF has been applied to the proper thickness and finish specifications, a protective layer of elastomeric coating or gravel is applied. This protective layer produces a long-lasting, weather-resistant surface that can be walked on for easy maintenance.

Save on Heating and Cooling

An SPF roof provides superior insulation and thermal resistance. Durability + Design Magazine tells the story of a school district in southern California that installed foam roofs and reduced their air conditioner use from 50 minutes every hour to only 15 minutes. That’s a 58% savings on energy cost. According to a Texas A&M study, an SPF roof will pay for itself in only three to four years.
